SAN FRANCISCO Apple Inc. said Monday morning that it will launch the iPhone 5 in South Korea on Friday, Dec. 7, with more than 50 additional countries getting the new smartphone before the end of the month. The device is currently available in 47 countries. New countries slated to get the iPhone 5 before the end of the month include Brazil, Russia and Taiwan.
