Adding to the long list of employees who have exited Zynga (ZNGA) since its initial public offering, the online games maker said late Monday that it is also losing chief marketing and revenue officer Jeff Karp. LOS ANGELES Microsoft Corp. laid off an undisclosed number of advertising and marketing personnel Wednesday, according to a Wall Street Journal report. A spokeswoman confirmed the cuts, which follow approximately 200 lay-offs earlier this year as part of a restructuring of Microsoft’s marketing group, the report said.
