The spokesman said the expert report would find out whether the company could seek compensation. “But the results are not yet there,” he said. Schulz, who joined the supervisory board [...]

Americans’ feelings of financial well-being slumped in September. Overall, the Financial Security Index dropped to 96.6, the lowest level since December 2011. A score of 100 indicates neutral feelings of financial security compared to 12 months ago. A reading below 100 signifies a negative appraisal of personal finances versus a year ago. No improvement was evident on any of the components in September. The net worth reading held steady from August, but feelings of job security, savings, debt and overall financial situation each slipped. Between 2010 and 2020, the United States is expected to add nearly 20 million new jobs. That represents a 14.3% increase in labor. A good part of that change has to do with population growth, as well as the growth of several sectors. Certain medical and personal care jobs will grow by 50% or more as the baby boomer population ages and their needs increase. Other occupations, however, will decline considerably. This story was originally published by 24/7 Wall St. Changes in population and technology also will lead to certain jobs shrinking dramatically or even becoming obsolete — if they [...]

KonaBody”> Companies often tout their workplaces as an inviting environment for employees. Yet many are far from it, and employees at many of America’s largest corporations dislike, or even hate, their jobs. With some of these companies in deep trouble, having disgruntled employees makes improving their operations that much harder. Or, some might say, it is their bad relationship with employees that caused some of their problems in the first place. This story was originally published by 24/7 Wall St. Often, however, a combination of perceived low pay, disillusionment with management decisions and a dysfunctional culture that values making money [...]

KonaBody”> Media reports regularly rank the country’s states in terms of their current economic situation, health, jobs and even water quality. But what about their future? That’s what Gallup attempted to find out. On Tuesday, the national polling agency released a report identifying the “future livability” of every state in the country, or the best and worst states to live tomorrow. Based on surveys conducted over 18 months measuring current sentiment, Gallup identified 13 metrics that can be used to gauge how livable states will be in the future. Some questions, which measure each state’s economy, job prospects and personal [...]
