Following a review completed by the company, new fund links have been announced for RL360°’s Quantum, Oracle, Paragon and LifePlan policies. Each year, the savings and investments specialist conducts a full review of funds for these products to ensure that it continues to provide a varied and strong range of funds to its policyholders.
Explaining its motivation for performing these annual analyses, RL360° highlighted the fact that when markets are going through turbulent times, the performance of funds can fluctuate. Its reviews allow it to replace funds that may have lost their edge with options that are exhibiting stronger levels of growth. The company also noted that it likes to fill any gaps in its offerings, for example by introducing new themes.
Quantum, Oracle and Paragon
The latest RL360° review resulted in the addition of 28 core new fund links for the company’s Quantum, Paragon and Oracle policies. The new options include a range of regional small and mid-cap equity funds, as well as 2 ethical funds that RL360° describes as strong performers against their peers. The firm has also brought a total of 6 new fund managers on board.
LifePlan now has 18 extra core fund links. The reason this number is lower than for the Quantum, Oracle and Paragon products is that RL360° has to prioritise steady performing funds for its LifePlan policy. The changes also include the addition of 3 ethical funds and 5 new sectors split across 5 fund houses.
By making improvements to its products like this on an ongoing basis, RL360° can ensure its policies continue to remain attractive to investors around the world.
When it was established in 2008, the savings and investments specialist was called Royal London 360°. It changed its name to RL360° in November 2013 following the completion of a management-led buyout. It was the first international life company of its kind to go through a transaction like this, and the deal was supported by global insurance group MunichRe. Since then, the business has continued to go from strength to strength. In December last year, it completed its acquisition of CMI Insurance Company Limited from Lloyds Banking Group.
