NEW YORK Ramtron International Corp. agreed to be bought by Cypress Semiconductor Corp. for an increased price of $ 3.10 a share, the companies said on Wednesday. The deal values Ramtron at $ 109.8 million, excluding assumed debt and options and including shares previously acquired by Cypress. The boards of both companies OK’d the deal. Cypress first disclosed its plan to buy Ramtron on June 12 at a price of $ 2.68 a share, but the offer was rejected. An upped price of $ 2.88 a share on Aug. 27 was also turned down on Sept. 10 as inadequate. Shares of Ramtron International rallied 7.7% to $ 3.09 a share in premarket trades.
